Who is Inger Alexanderson?
Following a highly successful business career with Mothercare, Inger decided to utilize her long-held passion for dogs by opening a boarding kennels combined with training classes for all breeds of dogs, running this for 12 years to great acclaim.
20 years ago Inger also founded Bakadam Gundog Club (www.bakadam.co.uk) in memory of her dear friend and inspiration Dennis Baker. She still runs the club to this day with the help of a dedicated team of like-minded gundog owners. Her reputation as a gundog trainer, with an emphasis on focusing on the variable temperaments and requirements of owners gave her the impetus to create Dog Solutions in 2007, to provide bespoke and group training for dogs and their owners.
The winner of numerous obedience and gundog competitions, Inger has also developed a considerable reputation for her work in re-housing and re-training Flatcoated Retrievers and was a major contributor to an authoritative book on dog ownership called Love me, Love my dog, published in 1994. |
